PAGES FROM MY JOURNAL #2

  1.  Imagine that you are sitting at home one evening when you see a big spider walk across the floor in front of you. Do you ignore it, take it outside, smash it, or do something else? What information do you consider before you decide?     If I have to be honest I am not killing the spider, I have a really big fear of spiders so am probably not killing it. The reason I have a fear about spiders is because when I was in 4th grade a spider bit me on my forehead and it was really big. Through out the day it was getting bigger and itchy so I went to the doctor and he tried popping it and that didn't work so I went to the hospital and they cut it open and squeezed everything out. Ever since that I have a fear of spiders. 2. How do you define yourself?     I think I would define myself as a very outgoing person because I love going to places and hang out with the people I love. I especially like going to parties that my happy place to be. I am also really loud  I will not be quiet.  3

PAGES FROM MY JOURNAL #1

 1. What's something your good at?   I think that I am very good at basketball and I didn't even realize that until I was in middle. I was very shy and when I got to middle school I started to try out new things so I decided to try out basketball and I made the team. I ended up being a pint guard and a guard. I think it was a pretty good experience for my 7th and 8th grade year.     2.  Some students have decided to stab themselves with sharp objects in sensitive areas (tongues, faces, belly buttons). Why? What does this symbolize to you? What do you think they intended it to symbolize?    I think that teen like them because they think it's cool and as a matter of fact I want a nose piercing when I am 16. In my personal opinion I don't see anything wrong with it because it's you own body.      3. The president is at your door? what do you want to tell him?   Well if we are talking about trump then I just want to say that he shouldn't even be running for presiden

LES MIS CH 8

In chapter 8,  The senator seemed to be a very clever.  The Senator and Bishop had a very long conversation.  The senator seems to hate Diderot because he is an ideologist, a declaimer, and a revolutionist, a believer in god at bottom, and more bigoted than Voltaire.

HOW WE READ

Reading is supposed to be fun, but sometimes reading for school is a challenge. Here are four ways we can have more fun reading and do it better at the same time. The first thing is that you should get books that catch your attention. You can usually tell if you like the book in the first couple of pages. The second thing you can do to enjoy reading more is that you can dig in more into the book like learn the backstory of the book or learn more about the author as you can look for what books he/she has wrote. You can also watch videos of the author talking about themselves and see what they say. The third thing you can do is define the word "read". The way you can do this is by reading more books you like and review books you dislike. Lastly you should stop looking for answers on one page and start developing    developing the expertise and the confidence that will enable you to find them in yourselves. For example if the book has a movie you can read parts of the book and

LES MIS CH 7

In chapter 7 , I think that the bishop is a very calm place because his house is very free. His house has no doors, no locks, and he literally lets anyone in like if it's there house. He also believes in god and he says that if anyone was too safe him it would be god himself. He seems like a very wise man.

WHY I CHOOSE WHAT I CHOOSE

I choose the book called " the hate you give" because I've always wanted to read that book since middle school but I never did because I always thought it was too hard for me. So I'm finally going to read it this year.

LES MIS CH 6

In chapter 6, it talked about th e last piece of new information we get is that the one earthly possession bishop does not let go of is his silverware. It also talked about how the bishop is always open for people that need him. They also get a house tour on his new home (well basically the old hospital).

LES MIS CH 5

In this chapter 5 , I found it interesting  that the Bishop is a very busy man and anytime that is not spent on the church or the community is spent on his garden and his writing. When he would go to the bishop he would help the poor. Purple was also vey expensive and usually it was received for royalty.

LES MIS CH 4

After reading chapter 4 it was very interesting from the start to the end.  The author writing it he was in shock at how he could do something that horrible. I feel like that it was unfair since the situation didn't get out of hand and affected large parts of the world.  My opinions on the death penalty are complicated but I strongly oppose it.

LES MIS CH 3

I n chapter 3, M. Myriel had to go around places for pastoral visits. He went to Senez, and people would laugh at him for ridding donkeys. So I'm guessing he likes ridding donkeys.

LES MIS CH 2

In this section of the book it was pretty interesting to read because they were stating how kind of a person M. Myriel was. For instance they stated that he was rich, poor, and then rich.. He would also spend a lot of money but it wasn't spent on him, he would spend his money other people.

LES MIS SYMBOLISM

Myriel's Silver Candlesticks  Myriel's Silver Candlesticks are an important because they shed ight that always brings love and hope. Snakes, insects, & birds  Hugo uses animal imagery to accentuate these characters' qualities of good and evil.

LES MIS QUESTIONS

How responsible is Jean Valjean for his financial success? How responsible is Bishop Myriel for it? Does it matter?

A WORD ABOUT THE MISERABLES

As long as our society says it's acceptable for people to judge each other and ruin each other's lives. He also explain how we were living in hell because of the laws we had. And sooner or later he kids would have a little faith in life. As long as these problems still occur then the topic of these books would still be useful in the feature.

LES MIS #1

In chapter one they expressed the characters very good. For example they said that Victor Hugo described how    Mademoiselle helped other people not physically but by the way her life was. Also how M. Myriel's family had a lot of money and they were still telling him to runaway and go to Italy.
